Professional interests

Heather Oakervee joined the Institute of Cancer in June 2005 having trained in Haematology at Barts and the London from 1997 and completed her MD in the department. Her main clinical and research interest is multiple myeloma and has been involved in many clinical trials of the new agents recently introduced in myeloma and optimising their use. Her main work now comprises early phase clinical trials, in particular in myeloma and also in trial management.
