The Teaching Centre is situated within the Institute of Cancer on the Charterhouse Square campus and provides support for over 120 postgraduate students in the Institute.

The Institute is based in one of London's top medical schools and is ranked in the top 5 in the country for research excellence in cancer studies. The institute consists of over 250 scientists across 6 research centres creating a unique grouping of expertise dedicated to clinical cancer care, cancer research and excellence in teaching. Our courses are taught by experts in the field and the innovative learning environment offers you an exceptional learning experience, exposure to modern techniques and state of the art laboratories. Courses

The Teaching Centre currently runs a programme of postgraduate taught courses (MSc, Pg Diploma, and Pg Certificate), research degrees (MPhil/PhD, MD (Res)) as well as various training courses throughout the year. The taught courses include subject areas in molecular biology, pathology of cancer, methods of cancer treatments and therapies, cancer pharmacology, prevention and screening, diagnostics as well as a suite of surgical training courses using simulation technology.
